Rainbow Bridge
Rainbow Bridge [Rainbow Bridge] BrE NAmE
the largest natural bridge of rock in the world. It is on Lake Powell in the US state of ↑Utah, near the border with ↑Arizona. It is 278 feet/85 metres long, and it curves upward to a height of 309 feet/94 metres. It has always been an important place for the ↑Navajo people and was made a US national ↑monument in 1916.
