Esquire
Esquire [Esquire] BrE NAmE
a magazine for men aged between about 20 and 40. It contains articles on topics such as sport, fashion and business. It has published work by writers such as Ernest Hemingway, F Scott Fitzgerald, Tom Wolfe and Norman Mailer. It began in the US in 1933 and one of its best-known features was the series of drawings of attractive girls done by Alberto Vargas (1896–1983). It has been published in Britain since 1991.
